Success On YouTube — A Beginners Guide
Over 37 Million Youtubers are out there uploading all together around 500 hours worth of video, per minute. So how can you compete with that? YouTube is extremely similar to blogging…so you may recall some of these tips from my last post in blogging.. Anyhow, to grow your YouTube Channel fast…this is what you’re going to need to do.
1) Set Goals And Priorities
Before you start recording anything, it’s important that you understand what it is your doing, and how you intend to do it. Start by creating a mind map or vision board…it should include the theme of your channel, what your main content is about, what equipment you are going to use and a timeline. The timeline is essential…in order to keep yourself on track, try to set yourself reasonable goals, so you really push to reach them.

2) Short And Engaging Videos
Keeping your videos short and engaging is the most powerful way to get your viewers to watch your whole video. This then turns into extra revenue if you intend to get monetized, but also gives your channel more of a chance of growing. Fact — Videos that get watched all the way through are extremely likely to get “featured”, meaning more views and subs.

3) Thumbnails That Stand Out
Thumbnails are extremely important as they are the hook that make viewers actually want to click on your video. However if your thumbnail isn’t enticing, it lessens the chance of someone wanting to view your video. Pay attention to these sort of things, you wouldn’t want to create a great video just to find no one has watched it because of your thumbnail. Try keeping the thumbnail relevant and truthful though…don’t add things that aren’t necessary, this will make sure the user understands what the video is about and if they want to watch it.
